About Me

Experience in web design & development

I’m Emma Jones, and I have over 20 years’ experience in web design & development (yes, I AM that old). Starting as an editor of the Napier University site in 1995, I moved into web development at Electrum Multimedia, a small IT company, in 2000.

Following an MSc in Multimedia Technology, I spent five years as a senior IT consultant with Vision Consulting. Here I specialised in interface design, usability and accessibility. Projects with them included managing the web design team responsible for setting up Internet Bank Intelligent Finance. I worked with numerous other clients on their web sites or software, including Stirling Council, Hibernian Bank, HBOS and Scottish Water.
